Join us on beautiful Sapelo Island for a nature hike in honor of National Trail Day. We’ll visit maritime forest, salt marsh, and dune habitats, and finish up on Sapelo’s pristine Nanny Goat beach. Hike is approximately 2.5 miles over boardwalk, trail, and sand beach.

Sapelo Island is accessible by ferry only. Arrive at the Sapelo Island Visitor Center (1766 Landing Road SE, Darien, GA) by 8:30 to purchase a ferry ticket ($15 round trip, cash or check only). Ferry leaves *promptly* at 9:00. Bring water, comfortable shoes, and appropriate outdoor clothing, plus a snack.
